## Comments

**ashdrewness:** With that kind of extension she’s definitely getting the most speed out of a small frame.

**ZealousidealBuilding:** Also not a long backswing, while gripping down as well. This is maximum efficiency.

**ocularaffairs:** Jeeno is one of my favorites on the LPGA. Totally in control this year!

**wspaley:** And she’s still just a Kid 👊🏻😁⛳️🏌🏻‍♀️

**blonded_olf:** unless it’s a major lmao

**ocularaffairs:** Until I can handle my nerves with 3 friends on a tee box, I can understand the growth curve of major championship golf nerves.

**Human_Relative_2710:** Didn't she win a major already

**kellzone:** She was in a playoff with Grace Kim in 2025 at the Amundi Evian Championship in France but Kim ended up winning.

**konstanz_:** No, not yet.

**Human_Relative_2710:** Oh you're right I was thinking of CME that isn't a major.

**konstanz_:** Very elusive major for her. Hope she wins one soon, that'd take off a lot of pressure for sure.

**greggosmith:** She's an absolute bomber of the ball - this is a really cool view.

**Bighead_Golf:** 145-147 ball isn’t a bomber
Lopez Ramirez is a bomber

**Zpoya:** She hits 74% fir averaging 273 off the tee, good enough to be in the top 25 in driving distance and accuracy. If that doesn't make her a bomber, idk what does.

**Bighead_Golf:** It’s like 240 carry with lots of roll, and they mostly play resort courses. Just the reality of it.

**Zpoya:** And lopez ramirez is like 250 carry. What is your point here? The number 2 ranked player in the world isn't a good ball striker?

**Bighead_Golf:** Good ball striker is not bomber.
Where’d you come up with that asinine conflation?

**Ok_Pie_6736:** The ability to get from her right hip back that far and then super open at impact is just insane to me

**Goofyitalia10:** Perfection!

**alexefy:** hang it in the louvre

**rutlander:** Damn that’s a perfect swing

**mizunoMP29:** I recommend average golfers watch LPGA compared to PGA. Women have that ability to turn 3 shots into 2 à la Bobby Jones

**double-oh-lesbo:** This advice gets repeated constantly, but average men are nowhere in the same vicinity as LPGA players, either.

**Separate_Teacher1526:** 100% true, but I'm still a firm believer that most of us amateurs would get more out of trying to copy LPGA swings like this over most guys on tour. The LPGA players have to rely more on correct swing fundamentals over just pure athleticism (not that they aren't athletic too, just not in the same way PGA Tour players are).
Obviously I'm never going to have a swing as nice as Jeeno or Nelly but I do think they serve as better examples for amateurs to try to emulate.

**bombmk:** > I'm still a firm believer that most of us amateurs would get more out of trying to copy LPGA swings like this over most guys on tour.

99% of people here cannot copy their way to that flexibility.

**James007Bond:** 100%. Someone else can comment with facts but imo women swing the way they do due to their increased flexibility vs men and due to their proportions (longer legs).

**Separate_Teacher1526:** Agreed, they aren't going to actually achieve anywhere near the swing of a LPGA pro, but they can still learn from them and apply it to their own swing

**bombmk:** Not much more than they can learn from looking at the best men.

**Two_Luffas:** A lot of the of the pro men, especially with a driver, will flex their lead arm to create more lag at the top, purely a strength thing for the men. You rarely see that in the women's game. It's a small difference but if every amateur took the mantra of lead arm dead straight and rotate/flex as much as their body can instead of trying to create added lag through lead arm flex, guaranteed they be more consistent.

**double-oh-lesbo:** I don't. They're technically perfect swings, even at a very slightly slower speed. If that was easy to copy, golf would be a simple game. The speed is the only thing about their swings that is in the same universe as a male amateur.

**mannheimcrescendo:** You’d be thinking wrong
The overwhelming majority of amateur golfers should not emulate the move of any professional golfer, male or female

**Yetiassasin:** Most amateur men will never have the flexibility of 99% of LPGA players.
Better advice is to try copy swings from the senior tours. I'm not kidding either.

**SackOfPotatoes949:** They will smoke a scratch male from the same tee. But the distances are at least comparable. The average LPGA player hits it about the same distance as a 5 hcp male- 250 off the tee, 160 7 iron. I play with a few on occasion and it's so much fun to watch how dialed they are.

**double-oh-lesbo:** Right, but they are still technically perfect. The main difference between Ludvig Aberg's swing and a perfect LPGA swing is speed. So telling male amateurs to copy a perfect swing simply because it's slower is dumb. If they were able to imitate a technically perfect swing, they wouldn't be shitty amateurs.

**SackOfPotatoes949:** Speed is a direct relation to arc and force though.
Ludvig is close to a foot taller and 50 pounds heavier than Jeeno. They both have "perfect" efficient swings. Copying either would be ideal. I am built like Ludvig but have the same speed numbers as Jeeno because I'm old and inefficient.

**Black-Ox:** Average men can’t even bring themselves to watch women’s sports at all. Average men also run the world

**double-oh-lesbo:** Precisely. Yet it is those same average men that are obsessed with comparing themselves to professional women athletes. Especially golf and basketball for whatever reason. It's always posted like it's giving women flowers in some bizarre way, but it's actually the height of idiocy to think professional women's swings are more accessible to you than men's.

**Black-Ox:** Average men seem to be upset with us lol

**double-oh-lesbo:** Did we expect anything else?

**nonbiribiri-kun:** Average male golfers do not have anywhere close to the level of flexibility of LPGA players.

**Old-Time-354:** That swing is smooth from start to finish.

**Immediate-Court-4074:** Her hip rotation (while upper body is fully coiled) at the start of the downswing separating upper and lower body is beautiful. From there, so much room to swing freely and as hard as she wants to. Lovely.
Thanks for posting this.

**DFuhbree:** I love watching the LPGA, every swing is absolute butter.

**Suqmacoq:** LPGA is so fun.

**eggs_and_bacon:** Talk about being on plane, my goodness that’s pure

**Lemonwater925:** Smooth as silk

**bigvenusaurguy:** Shes choked up like 2 inches here. I got curious and looked it up some drives she does this some drives she grips normally. I wonder what the adjustment does for her swing? Fairway finder drive?

**HeyHeyJG:** A lot of the professional ladies have wonderful swings

**cj37:** https://giphy.com/gifs/R5m5vZcaOr4l2TWFIK

**ScuffedBalata:** What an incredibly controlled swing plane. I've never seen one so sharp.

**AdLanky9450:** So this is a great swing, but I have one question. Would you consider her elbow is behind and not out in front?

**milliechorizo1:** Swings on the LPGA are so good. Women are masters of the fundamentals and efficiency when it comes to swing mechanics. Great example!

**FanohgeChamoru:** https://giphy.com/gifs/V2AkNZZi9ygbm

**ch1nacancer:** https://reddit.com/link/pgnnn9u/video/sjegttbekevh1/player
Yup

**W0WZUUR:** ::sheds a tear:: perfect

**ffordedor:** Is the club supposed to follow the exact same path back?

**alexefy:** no. In a lot of club path tracers you'll see almost a figure 8 shape with a small loop on the top of the back swing with a slightly lower path on the down swing

**Separate_Teacher1526:** Yep. Most players won't be on the same plane. Nelly is one of the exceptions to this, she has a beautiful one plane swing
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/nIs-O7pP6xk

**Teachingpro:** Not same plane, but club shaft has the same plane angle . We are in the weeds a bit, but at address the club shaft is on one plane. At the top of the backswing, the shaft is on a different plane that is higher than at address. But those planes are parallel, thus the same plane angle throughout.

**an0mn0mn0m:** It's blowing my mind that the back swing and down swing are on different planes.

**kellzone:** Ben Hogan goes over the down swing plane being shallower than the back swing in his book Ben Hogan's Five Lessons.

**yurmamma:** Makes things easier if it does. Tiger 2000 was up and back on the exact same line

**SuckMyRedditorD:** No but the graphic didn't show her shallowing on forward attack. Graph should loom more like an orange segment.

**Zer0C00L321:** Is there an app that you can use to trace your swing path like this video?

**PocketCaddie:** For sure, almost all of the top ones have it. Sportsbox, 18birdies, Pocketcaddie (coming)

**Zer0C00L321:** Awesome. Thank you

**maxwellcawfeehaus:** HOW DO I DO THIS

**PocketCaddie:** What a cool video! The 3d change is sick, how do they do that?

**T_Stebbins:** Love bot accounts

**DoesntFearZeus:** The swing looks great and this is really cool in how it is shown, but why does it look like the ball was blocked right into the trees?

**Separate_Teacher1526:** It looks like it goes straight down the middle to me? Maybe you're seeing that because the camera is aimed a bit left?

**blonded_olf:** I think you are seeing either a tee or shadow, not the ball

**DoesntFearZeus:** That's got to be it. When I made it full screen I could see the ball go straight, but the shadow or tee looks like it's pulled left.

**bombmk:** https://i.imgur.com/PA8HOht.png

**bigvenusaurguy:** the way they film a lot of pro golf it just looks like straight blocks all day. super annoying angle they pick.

**SuckMyRedditorD:** Because you ain't see too good.

**froopecind89:** Nice
